Charles Prescott Pottery - Fairview, Nova Scotia. A continuation of James Prescott & Sons, begun in 1880, in Enfield, Nova Scotia. Charles Prescott, son of James, is known to have been in operation by 1925 in Fairview. Some pieces are known to have been marked Webster, Smith & Co. of Halifax as well as the Prescott mark. Webster, Smith & Co. was a distributor of Prescott pieces. |
